.
A design, mostly in mosaic, that encompasses nearly 500 individual designs from pupils, artists and community groups. The artwork is on the frontage of a community arts centre that is situated within a primary school. The artwork continues inside the building as a flooring design and mural panels.
Nine artists commissions were also installed as part of the overall design. Commissioned by Space @ Bracken Edge with funding form Arts Council England – Yorkshire, Artforms and Bracken Edge School

The concept of 'Elements @ Space' is that pupils, community groups, partners and artists would create an artwork, based on the four elements, that would become part of the facade of the centre.
The artwork design reflects the architecture of the building. The hoops and rectangles that hold the individual pieces take their form from the existing windows and 'holes in the wall'.
