This sculptural feature lies on the main thoroughfare through the Chapeltown area of the city. The design was developed through a thorough process of community consultation which resulted in images and verse that reflect the highly multicultural nature of the area. The stanza was composed by one of the Leeds Young Authors collective and the piece was commissioned by Leeds City Council East North East Area Management.
